As part of our industry-leading Trust & Safety features sitters registered with TrustedHousesitters have the option to complete two levels of verification. A sitter’s verification level can be easily identified by the Trust Badge that appears above the heading on their house sitter profile and below their profile picture in relevant search results.

You can hover your cursor over a Trust Badge to activate a tooltip which gives full details of the achieved level. 

The levels sitters can obtain are:

Basic - Email & telephone number verified and at least one external reference received

Standard- ID check, Document check and address check
