We advise that throughout your communications with other TrustedHousesitters members you should uphold the value of our Community Pledge. Ensure that you are fair, factual, and balanced in your response to both your review detailing your experience of your house sitter and any feedback you receive.
Consider what effect your review could have on the member in question and decide whether or not it is appropriate for a public forum. Could your review be better submitted via a private channel such as email?
Remember that your review will appear on the bottom of the sitter’s profile and will be linked back to your home listing. This means that your response will be visible not only to the sitter and other owner’s considering them, but to other sitters considering applying to sit for you.
In the extremely rare occasion reviews are proven to be not factual in their substance, and we are provided with relevant evidence, then we reserve the right to remove the offending review, furthermore only the registered owner of a home and pet may leave a review for a sitter, a review written on their behalf may not be accepted.
