For Standard and Premium Pet Parent members, the Home and Contents Protection is only valid if you already have underlying insurance. You’ll need an insurance policy that you’ve purchased to cover your property. It needs to cover your buildings, contents, and public liability insurance.
If a pet parent member has renter's insurance - then as long as your policy insures you against the contents of your property and that it covers what you could potentially be claiming for, then it would be valid.
However, your landlord's building insurance is not covered under our Home and Contents Protection.
