If you are a sitter to verify your phone number via the website, just follow these steps:

1. Log in to your account 
2. Depending on what device you are using either click on your name or the three lines in the top right corner
3. Select 'My Profile' from the menu 
4. At the bottom to the right of the 'Your verifications' section - click 'Manage'
5. Under the 'Phone number' heading, press the 'Verify now' button 
6. Select the country code from the menu, which will add your dialling code so you don’t have to
7. In the white box, type in the rest of your phone number - please note not to include any dots or dashes within the number
8. Click 'Send Code' 

This will send a unique four-digit code to your phone number. If you provided a mobile number, the code will arrive as an SMS. If you provided a landline number, you will receive an automated call. Once you have received this, head back to the verifications page and enter the code in the box.
