If your membership is due to expire and you have a sit coming up after it’s lapsed, the sit can still go ahead. However, this you'll need to have communicated this with the sitter/pet parent and made an agreement for the sit to be continued off of the TrustedHousesitters platform. 

We do suggest exchanging contact information, as you will no longer have access to your TrustedHousesitters inbox.

Please note, however, that the other member may choose to cancel the sit in this circumstance and choose an alternative sitter from within the community. 

We’d recommend keeping your TrustedHousesitters membership for your benefit and peace of mind. If you decide to take a break, your profile, reviews and information will be saved, ready and waiting for your return.
