It's an exciting time when you're confirming a sitter to sit for you. We always encourage you, as a pet parent, to organise a video call before deciding on a sitter. This way, you'll be able to really get to know one another, ask all the questions and see if they're the right fit for you and your furry pals. Once you find your match, follow the steps below to confirm your sitter.

To confirm a sitter via the website:

• Log into your account, click on your profile photo in the top right-hand corner and select 'Inbox'
• In your inbox will be all the sitters who have sent an application and applied to your sit
• Once you have looked through all of the applicants and have decided on a sitter, you will see on the right-hand side under 'Current applications', 'Confirm offer' or Decline'

• Click 'Confirm offer', sit back, relax and wait for the sitter to agree to the sit
• Once the sitter has confirmed, the sit is now secured

To confirm a sitter via the app

• Log into your account via the app
• Select 'Inbox' in the bottom of the screen
• Click on the sitter you wish to confirm 
• Under 'Application from sitter', select 'Confirm'
• The sitter will be notified and once they agree the sit will officially be confirmed

Trusted tip: It's important to take your time while looking through applications. Go through each one and ask yourself, Does this particular member have a skill you're looking for or are they experienced with similar pets to yours?
