We understand that sometimes you and your family members go away together so it may be easier for the pets to stay with one another in your home. The more that pets are familiar with, the better and so we agree that this is okay.
Add the additional pet to your listing
You must ensure that the pets are included in your listing, along with your own pets. Although, please state that they don't usually live there.
As well as adding adorable photos of the pet, be sure to talk about the pet's personality. To ensure you find someone who can properly care for the pet, please also describe their needs and any habits or issues they may have.
Welcome Guide
Your Welcome Guide is the one-stop shop for all the essential information about yours, your family members pets, and your home. So please provide essential and emergency information specific to the additional pet, such as:
- What vet is the pet registered with?
- Can the sitter contact you to gain permission to seek veterinary treatment on the pet owner's behalf?
Before the sit
Remember to give the sitter as much information as possible to ensure they are aware of the situation upfront and that they have all of the information about who to contact about which pet.
Pets are at the heart of TrustedHousesitters so we want to make sure the additional pets are being looked after as well as your own.
