While sitters will bring lots of love and care, pet parents are still responsible for providing their pet’s food and essentials. This means they must make sure sitters are left with plenty of provisions for their pet. 

In some cases, such as longer sits, it may not be possible for a pet parent to prepare all their pet's necessities before they go. As long as they agree this with the sitter first, they can either leave funds for pet food or reimburse the sitter on their return.
