If you have a confirmed sit just around the corner and have noticed that the sitter is showing as 'inactive', they'll no longer be able to receive messages from you via the platform. You can easily identify if a sitter's membership has lapsed, as you'll see the following notice in your inbox:
Please note that the sitter must renew their membership before the sit can go ahead. Any sits taking place outside of the pet parent or sitters membership is not covered by our terms and conditions. If you wish to cancel the sit due to this, you can do so by clicking the 'Unconfirm sitter' button.
The sitter will be notified multiple times and encouraged to renew their membership.
