Included in our Standard and Premium Pet Parent memberships, our Home and Contents Plan covers all sits organised and confirmed through TrustedHousesitters, giving members extra peace of mind. 

Does it cover any of my stuff if it breaks or is stolen?

The Home and Contents Plan can cover accidental and malicious damage to your property during a sit. It protects your household goods and your valuable belongings, too.

You could also be covered for theft.

Does it cover sitters?

The Home and Content Plan includes public liability. This covers you in case the sitter has an accident in and around your property.

Does it cover my pet too?

Unfortunately, pets aren’t covered as part of the Home and Contents Plan. If there are any problems, then you can use our Vet Advice Line, 24/7 during a sit.

How much am I covered for?

The Home and Contents Plan offers property damage, theft, and public liability cover up to $1 million (or foreign currency equivalent).
