What Verifications are available?
- Email and telephone verification
- External references from an employer, landlord, character or someone you have house and pet sat for in the past.
- ID and document check, which is provided by our partners at Evident ID.
Is there a cost for completing the verifications?
No, we offer free verifications to all sitter members to help them build the best profile possible.
How can I be certain my personal details and information will be secure, kept private, confidential and not shared with third parties?
TrustedHousesitters does not hold any personal information for the ID Document Checks. Our verification partner, Evident ID, is industry-leading utilised by banks and other high-security services and business globally - therefore they maintain a bank-grade, encrypted security system, keeping your information confidential and secure.
How do I gain verification?
You can gain your verifications via the dashboard of your account when next logged in.
How can I see my completed verifications?
Each level of verification completed will appear on your profile via the website for other members to see.
