Whilst we don't provide any insurance products at TrustedHousesitters, many of our membership plans include policies tailored to give you extra peace of mind. After all, we want humans to feel as relaxed as the animals do, and our plans aim to do just that!
Our terms state that Pet Parents must ensure they have adequate provisions in place for veterinary care of their pet (such as pet insurance) before welcoming a sitter into their home. Pet Parents must also have adequate home insurance, and ensure this covers them for the occupancy of a sitter in their home (you may need to check this with your insurance provider).
We also encourage sitters to arrange any suitable insurance they feel is necessary for their sit and travel plans. For example, we'd advise you look into relevant travel and health insurance.
